Utah Mighty 5 Road Trip: How We Would Connect the Parks
Use this if you want all five. If you do not, every park also has its own standalone guide.

Zion
Build around the Narrows plus Watchman/Canyon Overlook, with Emerald Pools or the West Rim approach toward Scout Lookout depending on your group. Staying at Zion Lodge is extremely convenient but not necessary.
Bryce Canyon
Even 24 hours works: sunset, ranger stargazing if offered, sunrise, then Queen’s Garden/Navajo with Peekaboo if you want a bigger day. Add the scenic drive and Mossy Cave as time allows.
Capitol Reef
Scenic Drive, Grand Wash, Fruita and the petroglyphs. This is the park we would resist rushing through because the quieter pace is part of its appeal.
Moab: Arches + Canyonlands
Give Arches the stronger hiking day: Devils Garden is our pick for the best hike, while Delicate Arch is the iconic must-see. Add Windows, Park Avenue and other scenic stops as time allows. Use Island in the Sky for a shorter Canyonlands day with Mesa Arch, Grand View Point and Upheaval Dome.
Break up the trail days
Work in Hell’s Revenge, an ATV/slot-canyon outing, Coral Pink Sand Dunes or other non-hiking stops. They made the trip better for our family.
