Is a Kauaʻi Helicopter Tour Worth It?
For us, yes. The helicopter did something the hikes and drives could not: it showed us the parts of Kauaʻi that are effectively inaccessible from the ground.
Worth it? Yes — especially on Kauaʻi, where so much of the steep, wet interior cannot be reached by road.
We used Blue Hawaiian on our trip. What made the flight memorable was not simply seeing the same coastline from above. We flew over incredibly lush valleys and waterfalls and could finally understand how rugged the interior is.
Hike it, then see it from the air
After walking Nāpali, the helicopter gave us scale. The cliffs and valleys that feel enormous from the trail make even more sense from above. If your budget allows one splurge experience on Kauaʻi, this is one we thought added something genuinely different.
