One stop, two completely different landscapes
Jökulsárlón is already spectacular: large pieces of glacier float through the lagoon toward the ocean. Then you cross to Diamond Beach and find pieces of that same ice scattered across black sand.

Do not rush it
This is not a place where we would budget ten minutes, take a photo and leave. Walk around the lagoon, cross to the beach and spend some time watching the ice move. The contrast is the experience.
Worth it? Absolutely. One of the Ring Road's most memorable stops, and one where the combination matters more than either side alone.
